The City of New Orleans is working with IBM to examine opportunities for data warehousing and performance management system that may improve the quality and cost-effectiveness of service delivery, and promotes accountability and transparency. The IBM team will be working with several resources that are already being developed by the city including a 3-1-1 system and the newly created City Office of Performance and Accountability.

Mitch Landrieu was elected Mayor of New Orleans in February 2010. The son of a former Mayor of New Orleans, Mayor Landrieu served as Lieutenant Governor of Louisiana from 2004-2010. He has also served as the CEO for the State Department of Culture, Recreation, and Tourism.
